This has been one interesting year so far, and it's not even at the halfway mark yet. A month ago I developed a leg infection, which then led to the appearance of 2 auto-immune diseases called Evan's Syndrome and ITP. Which is when you're blood platelets get consumed up as soon as they are made. Being admitted to the hospital for observation/treatment wasnt fun, especially since I've never even been in one for stitches or a sprained ankle.A hefty hospital bill is coming my way at a time when I'm supposed to start paying tuition for grad school in the next couple months. That said all this has made me really want to stop waiting around to do things because of money, resources etc, as it seems I always have excuses to postpone everything. Easier said than done, but I'm going to make this my mission for the rest of the year.
