Music break

I have a major application due tomorrow and will most likely have a strong drink soon after. Las Robertas have been keeping my ears company as I walk the fine line of insanity from staring at my computer too long as I try to get all these things done. All female teen shoegaze-y garage rock from Costa Rica? claro que si! They've been compared to Vivian/Dum Dum Girls and Best Coast...but since they're way younger I'm going to applaud them a little more. When I was a teenager I was much less productive. enjoy...

Sisters

I usually listen to the Boswell Sisters around this time of year (autumn/winter), and it makes me wish I had sisters since I'd most likely force them to make a Boswell cover group with me.

Weekend

kinda tired after an eventful couple of days. Friends, lots of hot chocolate, and visiting Madison (one of my favorite places) for a couple of concerts, including Deerhunter which was amazing.

Yachts & Magpies

-The magpie now shares something in common with humans, chimps, & dolphins...
-Seagulls once again getting aggressive...
-I hadnt seen this commercial but seeing as Olympic fever has been going around it's very appropriate!

Been a busy week at work and now I'm glad it's over. I plan on relaxing and maybe some dancing as well. Been playing this Yacht track non-stop and I think it's a perfect/fun song to listen to during a summer weekend. They're from Portland, and the song is a little crazy, but indulge me haha. Have a good one!
