Couple Things...
So the awesome Miss Kat of Anything Goes gave me a You Make My Day award and really it made MY day. Thanks so much! I probably don't have time here to post a notice on these blogs that they've made my day. I'll just post the info, and hope they see it :)

Love is....Giant Owl Costumes

The new photography for Goldfrapp's album caught my eye, especially the lovely natural lighting and costumes. I'm not sure what inspired the amazing (paper?) Owl costume, but I love it. Photographer Serge Leblon has a colorful and pretty portfolio as well.

Sometimes mail is good!

Got my amazing package from Janet over the weekend, and it's such a treat! Vintage linen, letterpress cards and an amazingly crafted cherry wood spoon, as well as VERY delicious chocolates. Thanks so much Janet I love it! Yours should be there this week :)

Friday Night

Resisted the temptation to go out tonight to instead stay in and get things done. Took so much effort! I'm going to try and get up early tomorrow and see how that goes haha. When one works late every day, sleeping in means so much more!

Anyway above is a pillow I made this week using West Hill by Heather Ross fabric. Speaking of fabric though, I love this art piece that was printed on fabric by super talented designer Therese Vandling.

The London Transport Museum has their amazing poster archive up and it makes me wish spring was here...and also that I was in Europe! (via fed by birds)

Busy times!

I've been updating my resume (it's a wonder I ever got hired before...I really didn't get creative with my design layout years ago!) and getting things in order. Hopefully one day soon i can afford a place in which I can alter the walls as I see fit...and THESE will probably be on the shortlist :) From Walnut Wallpaper (via oh joy!)
