I can't remember if I've seen these in stores or not, but I kinda agree with Gizmodo that they can get annoying haha. Still, nice to see there's some sort of bird-toy market out there!

More exciting though- there's a sculpture exhibit going down in Jenkintown, PA which is all about "Inside/Outside." Sculptor Elizabeth Demaray has made custom bird houses with music inside them, to see how birds respond & which they prefer! Among them is "I'm a Cuckoo" by Belle & Sebastian. Are there birds out there who love Indie Rock? I think so! :)

The Owl Keeper

I am currently in love with this Sanna Annukka print. It reminds me of 60's childrens illustrations and graphics of that time period. Sorta pricey but it would look amazing in anyone's home. Check her other work too.
