Kittens, Dresses, and Records

these are a few of my favorite things...what's not to love! Rachel Antonoff Spring '11 Lookbook is out. For some reason it also reminded me of the video for "Homecoming" by The Teenagers. Which then also makes me wish it was summer so I can wear dresses and shorts again like all these ladies. Once the 5inches of snow outside melts I guess...

Charlotte

pardon the lack in updates, I'm trying to get all my things in order for all the things I mentioned in my last post. As I sit here with pretty bad allergies (AGAIN..ugh) on this rainy evening, I am enjoying these new snaps/video of Charlotte Gainsbourg in Balenciaga shot by Melodie McDaniel for Another magazine.

grossomodo dress

Spanish group grossomodo (using a suturno fabric) have posted some amazing work in progress for some simple summer dresses coming up. I cannot wait to see the full product, and would love that second dress, the print is amazing.

Snow Swans

I know most of you are all Tim Walker'd out, but you have to give it to the man- he is damn good. While he can be extremely repetitive in his style, I'm content with what he's doing so far. In next month's Vogue UK, he has a go at The Snow Queen with one of his favorites and mine, swans.

Racing Pigeon fashion

Chinny Chin Chin
Pigeon racer ring necklaces. By themselves, the necklaces leave something to be desired-but coupled with the cards and layout with details of the bird...I'm a little intrigued! (via swissmiss)

Busy times!

I've been updating my resume (it's a wonder I ever got hired before...I really didn't get creative with my design layout years ago!) and getting things in order. Hopefully one day soon i can afford a place in which I can alter the walls as I see fit...and THESE will probably be on the shortlist :) From Walnut Wallpaper (via oh joy!)

paul & joe & birds

there are so many things on the Paul & Joe site I don't know where to start. Actually though, the Reginne top is a good place to start...
